Warriors Academy MMA
History
With his depth of skill and experience in martial arts and combat sports, it should come as no surprise that Frass Azab is expanding his Warriors Academy empire to a second location. From a young age, Azab was exposed to martial arts and continued training throughout his life, with experience in:
- Judo
- Muay Thai
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Filipino martial arts
Along with his competition experience and a 2012 CBJJ Brazilian National Championship, Azab is a black rank in Krav Maga and certified by the NRA for Pistol and Defensive Tactical shooting.
This well-rounded martial arts background led him to open the first Warriors Academy in 2014. The programs offered are decidedly reflective of his own experiences – students can train in Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, or enroll in a Women’s Self-Defense Program.
And now, after nearly a decade of serving the Kansas City community, Warriors Academy has opened a new location dedicated to combat sports. Because mixed martial arts, boxing and kickboxing require their own specialized equipment and training, it was a logical next step for Azab and his team to serve these specific interests and continue spreading their knowledge and experience.
