Brandon Zerbe began his martial arts journey in 1995. A United States Air Force veteran, he served multiple deployments in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, bringing discipline, resilience, and real-world experience into his training and instruction.
He earned his 1st-degree black belt in Hapkido in 2006 under Grandmaster Steve Weidenmannand has also trained as a Libre knife-fighting practitioner under Scott Babb. Brandon’s background includes amateur boxing and folkstyle wrestling, giving him a well-rounded foundation in both striking and grappling.
Since joining Warriors Academy KC in 2014, Brandon has trained under Head Coach Frass Azab in Self-Defense Combatives and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he currently holds the rank of blue belt.
In addition to his personal training, Brandon serves as an assistant instructor and coach for the Warriors youth competition team, helping develop the next generation of martial artists through discipline, structure, and technical growth.
